Description:
You are invited to a Nursing Showcase at Viterbo University! This half day event will help prospective students learn about the admissions process (including requirements for the direct admission track), partnerships with local healthcare facilities, scholarship opportunities, how to bring in AP or college credits for first year coursework, and more! Attendees will also spend hands-on time in our state-of-the-art clinical simulation center. A Q&A panel with current students and alumni will allow students to ask any questions they have about the nursing program, clinical experiences, student life, and job opportunities after graduation!
Schedule for the Day:
- 8:30 – Check-in Begins
- 9:00 – Welcome from the Dean of the College of Nursing and Health
- 9:10 – Nursing program overview
- 9:45 – Simulation Center hands-on activity
- 10:25 – Q&A panel with current students and alumni
- 11:00 – Optional campus tour followed by a complimentary lunch in the cafeteria
