9:15 AM - 11:00 AM Central Standard Time
Status: Space Available
Location: Fine Arts Center

Description:

High school students with an interest in human behavior and the human service fields are invited to come to Viterbo University to better understand what it is like to be a student in the human behavior major areas. This opportunity will give prospective students the chance to interact with Viterbo faculty and students within the psychology, counseling, community and criminal justice, and social work majors. Throughout this event students will participate in different activities (including an interactive case study), conversations to help facilitate further exploration of career paths within these fields, simulate the college classroom experience, and provide a sneak peek into college life from the perspective of current students.

Not sure which majors are included within Human Behavior? Students who are planning to declare into Criminal and Community Justice, Social Work, and Psychology. Additionally, Viterbo does offer minors within Criminal and Community Justice, Family Studies, Gerontology, Psychology, Sociology, and Substance Abuse Counseling. The university also offers the Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling and the EdD in Counselor Education and Supervision.
